After a successful world premiere of Nicole Lizée’s Percussion Concerto with the National Arts Centre Orchestra of Ottawa in Canada, Colin performs in the final Summer Sounds concert at the Avanti Festival in Porvoo, Finland on Sunday 3rd July.

This week sees the World Premiere of Nicole Lizée’s percussion concerto with the National Arts Centre Orchestra of Ottawa conducted by Alexander Shelley. This work is co-commissioned by the BBC and will receive its European Premiere at the Royal Albert Hall on July 29th.

After a very memorable performance of Steve Reich’s ‘Drumming’ in Bath Abbey at the Bath Music Festival last month, the Colin Currie Group continues its performances throughout the UK with a return to Kings Place in London on 4th June.

The celebrated Trumpet and Percussion duo return to St Luke’s this week as part of Håkan Hardenberger’s Artist Portrait presented by the London Symphony Orchestra.

The Colin Currie Group continues its return to live music in the UK with a performance of Steve Reich’s ‘Drumming’ in the acoustical splendor of the Bath Abbey at the Bath Music Festival.

Colin performs three concerts with the North Carolina Symphony in North Carolina, first at the Wilson Center on 28th April and then at the Meymandi Concert Hall on 29th and 30th April.

After a successful world premiere of Danny Elfman’s Percussion Concerto at the Royal Festival Hall last month with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Colin Currie performs the North American premiere of the same work at its co-commissioner, the Soka Performing Arts Center’s concert hall in Aliso Viejo.

Colin Currie performs his first public concerts since returning home to Glasgow in November 2019, with the internationally renowned Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
